Nothing New

Sorry for the long delay in postings, I thought you would just want to see the pea video more and more. Matthew has now had meat. He started with beef and also had chicken. He is trying so hard to crawl, but can't seem to get the hands and legs together. He will pivot on his belly to grab objects to the side and when he pushes on his hands, he often scoots backwards. To move forward, he will stick his butt in the air and with straight legs and strong toes, push a little forward. He just can't seem to put the straight hands and bent knees together. Oh well! He will crawl when he is ready. He does, however, like to stand. He will stand along holding on to the table (not moving around though) and reach for things on the table. He is also very interested in the food drops on his highchair tray. I spilled some food yesterday and he immediately reached out and tried to grab the food. Instead he just mixed it all around and made a fun mess. I tried to show him to move his messy fingers to his mouth, but he wasn't having it.
