One week to go!

I went to the doctor yesterday and everything is still good! Surprisingly my blood pressure is wonderful. I thought is would be higher with the stress of moving and selling our house added with the high heat and humidity at work, but I was wrong. I am not dilating yet, so that is actually good news for now. I just wanted to make it through early next week when we close on our old house and our new house. I go back to the doctor next Wednesday for a check-up and then on Friday of next week for an ultrasound. They want to mainly check the fluid level and Matthew's position. So, once we get through the hurdle of moving this weekend and settling into our new house we can relax with our new son. Gosh that sounds so weird...cool, but weird. My last day at work is tomorrow! We all decided that is was a great idea to be off my feet and relax this last week or so. I just can't handle the heat at work anymore. I will only miss six and a half days of school, so that is basically nothing this time of year. Have a wonderful day!

"Moving" along

(Fitting title huh?!) I went to the doctor yesterday and everything is starting to move along as it should. Matthew is dropping into place and getting ready for the delivery. Without getting too graphic, I will say my body is also getting ready and some things are happening. As for moving day, that is still up in the air. The buyers of our house decided to go on vacation and their realtor was delayed in ordering the appraisal, so we can't close on June 1st. We will probably close on Monday, June 4th. If Matthew decided to come early, we will postpone our closing date until later in June. Who knows... Regardless I am looking forward to a new home and a new family. We are doing a great job of getting packed up here, a little bit each night. I am also starting to compile a list for my hospital bag, just in case. As for work, that is going great. The heat will be a challenge in the next few days, but other than that I feel wonderful while I am there. I am sleeping pretty good, with the exception of some acid reflux. My legs and feet are quite swollen, but my doctor said there really isn't more I can do to make that better. So I guess keep your fingers crossed that we can move before Matthew makes his grand entrance! More to come next week after I visit the doctor. Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend! We are planning on taking a nice night to spend on the boat relaxing and enjoying the evening. Hopefully the rain will hold off one night.

Moving!

We bought a house this weekend! The offer was accepted last night! We are hoping to move the first weekend in June, just in time for Matthew to be born! Needless to say, we are very excited about everything that has happened this past week. For mother's day, my mom and I went and got everything else off my registry that we needed. Ryan put together the stroller/car seat for my car as well as his car seat. I had a doctor appointment yesterday and everything is moving along smoothly. My heart rate is still very good, within normal range, and Matthew's was about 156, which is also very strong and healthy! I go to the doctor weekly now as we wind down these last four weeks.

One month to go!

I am one month away from my due date! In that one month we will move out of our house, purchase a new house and move in there and have a new baby. I think we are a bit crazy! We sold our house on Wednesday and are now looking for a new one. Other than all that, I still feel very good. I am having some swelling at the end of the day, but when it is about 90 degrees in my classroom at work I would probably be swollen even if I weren't pregnant! I go to the doctor Monday to start my weekly appointments, so I will keep you posted when we hear what is happening. Wish us luck on finding a new house!

On track

I had another doctor appointment yesterday and everything is looking great! My blood pressure is great and Matthew's heartbeat is strong at about 145. He is head down and posterior, which is wonderful! I am measuring 35 cm, so that is on track as well. I start my weekly appointments on the 14th of May, so we will have more information then as well.

On another note, keep your fingers crossed, we might have an offer on the house. We will hopefully find out this weekend. Ryan and I are looking at some houses tomorrow with our realtor to narrow down our search as well. We will keep you posted!
